Blue Bell, PA— Homebuyers or sellers looking for the ideal time to buy or sell should wait no longer, according to Art Herling, Regional Manager and Vice President of the Long & Foster Companies’ Delaware Valley Region.
“The Delaware Valley Region’s March 2007 sales were up 18% over March of 2007, our best month ever in the six years since the region was formed”, said Herling. “Most of our offices had their largest sales increases in their history. With interest rates still low and plenty of inventory, now is a great time to buy and sell.”
With 18,000 residential sales associates throughout the firm’s seven-state Mid-Atlantic region, Northern Virginia-based Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. operates 21 Delaware Valley offices throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. During March, the Devon office led the way, with $29 million in sales volume, followed by the Greater Princeton office, the Independence Hall office and the Spring House office. Tied for 5th place were the Yardley office and the Wayne office. The Media office was number one in units sold with 84, followed by Devon with 74, Spring House with 66, Cherry Hill with 61 and Greater Princeton with 57.“Despite our size, we maintain a boutique atmosphere in our offices, and people are still the most important focus”, said Herling. “With the ability to provide everything under one roof-mortgage, title, insurance, relocation, etc., we make it extremely easy for buyers and sellers to accomplish all their real estate goals in one place.”
